A lovely cake for the festive season!
You will need:
290gr plain flour
3 medium eggs
2 apples
180gr sugar
3 tbsp cocoa
100gr sunflower oil
110gr milk
12gr baking powder
30gr walnuts
1 pinch of fine salt
1 pinch cinnamon
Time:
1hr (15 mins preparation + 45 mins baking)
Method:
Mix together the flour, cocoa, salt and baking powder. Put the eggs and sugar in a different bowl, and beat them until creamy and smooth. Add the sunflower oil and the milk. Then mix the contents of the two bowls together.
Slice (or dice) the two apples and cut the walnuts in very small pieces. Add half of the apples and walnuts to the mix, then pour everything in an over proof dish. Top the cake with the remaining apples and walnuts.
Cook in the oven at 180°C for 45 minutes.
