What you need:

200 gr brown lentils

1 carrot

1 onion

1 celery stick

200 gr tomato passata

6 medium potatoes

20 gr parmesan cheese

extra virgin olive oil

salt and pepper and nutmeg


Time:

60 minutes


Preparation:

Boil the potatoes peeled in salty water.

In the meantime cook the lentils with onion, celery and carrot (cutted in pieces) with tomato passata, covered with plenty on water, for 30 minutes. Add water if necessary, the lentils needs to be soft.

Once the potatoes are cooked, mash them, add a bit of olive oil (20gr) and nutmeg. 

In a casserole add the cooked lentils and cover with the mashed potatoes.

Add the greated parmesan and cook in the oven for 20-25 minutes at 180 C degrees.
